Since 1994, SCATUI and its employees have been committed to supporting the communities throughout its service area. Each year SCATUI allocates funds to support local, non-profit community programs and projects that encourage youth and builds communities through partnerships and in education. Over the years, the company has participated in and assisted with community projects, school activities, youth sports, local government and other non-profit group activities. Thousands of dollars have been allocated to student scholarships, community wellness programs, and economic development activities through the region.
Many of our employees are active volunteers within their communities, giving generously of their time and energy. |

We are involved in a broad range of donations and sponsorships that reflect the values of our brand, our employees’ interests and our desire to have a positive impact on the communities we serve. |

Criteria for Donations |
| |
In keeping with our mission, our support is directed towards assisting organizations and individuals in the local communities we serve. Included in the request must be a contact name, address and telephone number; a description of the purpose of the request and its benefits; an amount needed to accomplish the intended purpose and how the organization plans to recognize SCATUI as a sponsor. In order to be considered, all requests must be received by SCATUI at least two weeks in advance of the scheduled event dates SCATUI will consider requests from organizations, institutions, and groups that meet the following criteria: |

- Have a nonprofit status.
- Employ ethical methods of publicity, promotion and solicitation of funds.
- Request funds for programs or operations with a minimal portion applied to overhead
- Use donation to benefit organizational members or constituents.

SCATUI does not consider funding for the following: |
| |
- Religious causes.
- Political parties, candidates or issues.
- Travel Expenses.
- Individual trips and/or tours (except FRS Youth Tour).
- Independent film/video productions.
- Requests from indivituals.
- Requests from organizations based outside the SCATUI service area, unless the organization benefits those residing within our service area.
- Organizations that discriminate on the basis of age, sex, race, color, national origin, religion, or creed.
- Tournaments for individual gain, except non-profit organizations
- Tournament entry fees, except those sponsored exclusively by SCATUI.

Due to limited funds, SCATUI is limited to one award per recipient per fiscal year. SCATUI does not make multi-year commitments.
All donations by SCATUI must be used only for specified purposes.
Decisions are in SCATUI's sole discretion and awards are subject to fund availability. |

Applications are reviewed and approved or declined within six-to-eight days after submitting a request.
SCATUI reserves the right to make a partial award. |
